This is a filament holder designed for large filament rolls like 1.6 and 2.0 kilogram types. It can also be used for smaller rolls, such as 1kg or 0.6kg, if you use a 6mm pin in one of the holes of the filament holder. UPDATE 01-Feb-2016 Created an XXL model with an extra long holder shaft, perfect for even bigger rolls. Let me know what you think of it! The filament holder is designed to be made from ABS and fits directly on the back of a Da Vinci 1.0 Pro printer. No need for support printing, just print slowly and use Kapton tape and ABS slurry or hairspray. Because it's placed directly on the back of the printer, there's also a filament feeder to make space between the roll and the printer.
