This mod completely reuses all stock components and is fully reversible in design. The extruder motor is relocated/mounted on top of the frame, while the stock carriage serves as a mount for the E3D v6 hotend. In order to install this modification you will need to acquire the proper M3 screw lengths, along with corresponding nuts and one quick disconnect coupler. I will attempt to document the installation process in the near future, but don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions beforehand. The modification is showcased in action on a video that can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpZDC1HZqIw. To mount this mod correctly follow these steps: Mount the Quick E3D Bowden Extruder Mount---D.STL component directly onto the top of the frame with the extruder motor located on the bottom side. The stock idler arm and spring are reused during this process. Mount the E3D v6 hotend by utilizing: Quick E3D Bowden Mount---REVA.STL Quick E3D Bowden Mount-B---REVA.STL Take the Quick E3D Shroud.STL component and slide it into the second slot from the bottom of the heatsink. The airflow created by this shroud will actually obstruct cooling airflow to the heater block, resulting in an inability to achieve maximum temperature with your hotend unless this piece is installed. Finally mount the stock fan onto the Quick E3D Bowden Mount-B---REVA.STL component, however it is crucial that you insert two M3 screws through the back of this part prior to mounting.
