D9 Y-Axis belt tensioner for MK2 400mm
prusaprinters

Unfortunately bleugh's fantastic belt tensioner (thanks for that btw) doesn't fit the D9 MK2 400mm version: the Y-axis wheels collide with it when moving the bed to something like >370mm (which happens at every z-calibration).

So I just moved the outer holes inside and chamfered them to use the original M5xsomething countersunk screws. That gives that "small part" enough space without having me to trim too much of it. I also made the small part a tiny bit thicker (looks a bit too flexible to me otherwise - which is also why I removed the text from the big part btw; sorry) and chamfered one of the holes to use countersunk screws here as well.

Disclaimer: when the bed moves to the outtermost y-position there's a chance of scratching the bed-cables since they tend to collide with the belt tensioner. If this happens on a regular base your cables could come loose, somehow creating a short cut, causing all kind of unpleasant events, such as setting your house on fire. I don't want that to happen, so just don't blame me for something like that. ...blame... bleugh!

Printed in PET (not PET-G) and annealed at 140°C to achieve ultimative stiffness.
Category: 3D Printer Parts
