D9 Y-Axis belt tensioner for MK2 400mm
cults3d
Unfortunately, Bleugh's fantastic belt tensioner, which I must thank him for, won't fit the D9 MK2 400mm version: when moving the bed to a position greater than 370mm, the Y-axis wheels collide with it during every z-calibration. So, I simply moved the outer holes inward and chamfered them to use the original M5x countersunk screws. This gives that small part enough space without requiring excessive trimming. I also made the small part slightly thicker - its flexibility concerns me otherwise - which is why I removed the text from the big part too; sorry. Disclaimer: when the bed reaches its outermost Y-position, there's a risk of scratching the bed-cables since they tend to collide with the belt tensioner. If this occurs regularly, your cables might come loose, creating an electrical short circuit that could lead to unpleasant consequences like setting your house on fire. I don't want that to happen, so please don't blame me for it - blame Bleugh instead. Printed in PET (not PET-G) and annealed at 140°C to achieve ultimate stiffness.
