D810 Fan Duct (Zonestar)

This is a custom fan duct for the D810 Delta Printer from Zonestar. Newer versions come equipped with a fan duct, but performance leaves much to be desired. To rectify this issue, I crafted a replacement that attaches securely to the extruder top plate using two self-tapping screws identical to those found on endstops. This design also utilizes the original fan and requires an M3 screw and nut for assembly. The fan duct allows for adjustable airflow direction by angling it as needed. Improved print results have been achieved with this modification, eliminating overheating issues during small part printing. Print settings used were as follows: Printer: Zonestar D810 Rafts: Not applicable Supports: Not required Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 20% Notes: Resolution and infill percentages do not significantly impact print quality; use preferred settings. The part was printed using PLA filament provided with the Printer Kit from Zonestar. Printing recommendations include orienting the holder with its wide side facing downwards on the bed, while positioning the duct itself with the fan mount aligned towards the printing surface. Design Process I measured my printer's dimensions and created this design in Fusion360.
