D6/MMU cable clip head cap with push-fit connector
thingiverse
A couple of years ago, Hlanderd came up with the clever idea of attaching a pneumatic cable connector directly to the head. I found this modification quite helpful as well, since if the filament happens to be slightly bent, it won't go straight down through the hole below the PTFE tube. When this occurs, pushing on the filament only causes the PTFE tube to pop out, forcing me to remove the cover - a bit of a nuisance. Since there was no response after I suggested and requested this feature, I decided to give it a try myself. Edit: I wasn't thinking things through! This design is a bit silly because once you get the filament past this fitting, it has to pass through another tube. To solve this issue, I revised the design to create a push-through version that allows you to take the PTFE all the way down through the bracket and onto the idler arm.
