D6 Magnetic Camera Mount

Compression-fit camera mount designed specifically for the D6. A spare Microsoft camera with a magnetic base proved to be the perfect starting point. A rough mock-up was created to accommodate adjustability of the magnet, which currently measures approximately 10.15mm in diameter. This design fits snugly onto the front x-axis frame, although clearance beyond a visual inspection has yet to be verified and is likely to result in a loss of around one millimeter of build volume. Following glueing in of a magnet, this mount proved to be extremely stable. A STEP file has been included for ease of adjustment, with full acknowledgment that the design was rushed and lacks polish//mea culpa is extended in advance for any difficulties encountered while adjusting.
