Left side angled part fan duct for Wanhao D6. Currently okay to run with the fan on to cool itself. Remove the assembly for ABS printing to avoid melting or distorting. Currently this is Type2-mkVII-adj-fan-nozzle-LHS.stl TESTING VERSION This shows promise to become the new production nozzle. Currently this is n/a DEVELOPMENT VERSION This will be an initial mod or even a totally new design. Currently this is NB. Considering a new design with 2 x5015fans, which will be "type3" OLD VERSION This was the last production nozzle. Currently this is Type2-D6-LHS-angled-nozzle.stl Notes Testing consists of a Benchy initially then moving on to other test pieces and time as a production nozzle to iron out any kinks. Development tends to be an un-tested or has only passed benchy nozzle. To assemble it, you will need 2 x M4 brass inserts and 2 M4x10mm bolts and a soldering iron to push the brass inserts in. For the fan, 4 x m3 brass inserts and 4 x M3 bolts, 25mm long for a 4020fan. The inserts can be got very cheaply off aliexpress. I have included the fusion360 files for anyone who wants to change details. Must be printed in something like HTPLA, ABS or Polycarb to resist heat. The silicone boot will help a lot though. Ideally you want a 4010, 24volt 0.1 or 0.12amp 9 bladed fan at 6800rpm. Bigger 4015 or 4020 fans have more mass so should be avoided. Also if you put in a 4020 the result is more air on the left v the right and the right Wanhao fan is marginal at best so you have to balance the setup. There will be a newer design to add to get closer, this is in testing but this duct works quite well. Fans (updated September 2017).
