d3 Dice (Three-sided Die)
thingiverse
Some tabletop roleplaying games (especially certain older editions) occasionally call for the players to roll a 3-sided die (d3). Since such dice are not typically included with the provided defaults, the assumption is that players will roll a 6-sided die (d6) and divide the result by 2 (rounding up) to get a number between 1 and 3. However, I felt like coming up with an honest-to-goodness die with only three sides having an equal chance of success. And here it is. Players are intended to read whatever number is printed along the upper edge. There are two models included here: 1) Based - This has a little stem at one corner to make 3D printing easier. However, you will have a little extra circle of material at one end to carve off when you're done. I mean, I guess you don't have to carve it off. The die will still work with it attached. 2) No Base - This has no extra material at one end. It will probably need some support to 3D print unless you're doing SLS
