D20 Renumbered
thingiverse
This is an improved Dual Extrusion D20 by rplumley (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24663), where I reordered digits for proper gaming die distribution (sum of opposing sides equals 21, no consecutive numbers). It's my first attempt at SCAD file editing and dual extrusion printing; thanks to rplumley et al and AKAMEDIASYSTEM (http://www.thingiverse.com/AKAMEDIASYSTEM) for guidance. STL files are fine, while SCAD ones are for further customization. Note that you need the OpenSCAD Bitmap Fonts Module (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2054) by tbuser for these scripts to work. The digits sequence is changed from sequential to a proper distribution using lookup tables, making it easy to modify facet printing with OpenSCAD. There's also "get_num_digits" table for character count (0 for single or 1 for two), and "get_digit1" & "get_digit2" for first and second characters. The original "get_digits_old" is left for reference. Be cautious, as I've faced issues with the second color coming out properly on Makerbot. If you find a solution or have a fix, please share in comments!
