D20 bin (icosahedron bin)
prusaprinters

Description:

This is a DnD/TTRPG inspired bin I made for my partner. I first tried to make this with vase mode, but due to the angles the walls would begin to bend inwards. I will include the vase mode STL if you want to give that a try.

Printing:

At scale the walls are roughly 1mm thick. I printed my example with FormFutura rPLA. Might be doable with PETG, though it may be worth slowing the print time so the walls don't fall in. With PLA it took a little over 23 hours to print with a .40mm nozzle at .20 layer height. I also had it print the bottom and top layers in octogram pattern for looks.

Vase mode file:

I added the vase mode file, but as I said I could not get the walls to work. However, if you're able to please share the print file so myself and others might give it a try. With that said as well, make sure to print that file in vase mode, or you're have a very filament hungry paperweight.

(Better photos to come)
