D16 dice with binary values
thingiverse
A simple 16-sided dice with a unique combination of exactly four 0's and 1's on each side (a nibble) resulting in all the hex values 0 through F or decimals 0 through 15, respectively. Here's a video of it getting colored in with acrylic paint: https://youtu.be/jSLS3u1tALc You can quickly tell which side is odd and which side is even by the ones and zeros closest to the tips. The long edges are MSB and the tips are LSB. I also have some other types of die that are designed to be printed in place without support by a resin printer: 2-sided (D2 and D4): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5251812 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5261013 3-sided: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5251567 4-sided (Chinese and pipped): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5229782 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5276415 6-sided: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4229478 If you found this useful, it would bring me great joy to see your work - so be sure to share. :) Or, better yet, please feel free to dump a bitcoin or two here: 1Py3TUeR8noBN2giHyFV1GfB6x3Kh2WEVv ... include a note to the effect of "Hi 3E8, thanks for the D16 dice thing... my life has improved five-fold on account of it and please accept this paltry amount in gratitude". You're welcome! (in advance) :D Also, feel free to peruse my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are many: http://www.thingiverse.com/Julius3E8/designs Enjoy!
