D11T Bulldozer
thingiverse
Printed at 200% size, this remixed model measures approximately 36 x 20 x 15 inches when scaled down to 100%. Every part has been meticulously designed to snap together seamlessly without any non-printed components required. The tracks are engineered to move freely and effortlessly connect with each other, while the hydraulic cylinders have been modified to twist-lock securely in place, ensuring precise control and end stops. A geared axle shaft features a convenient c-clip for effortless axle retention. All joints rely on snap-in pins for smooth engagement. Some parts have been optimized to print without supports, while others still require them; use your best judgment when printing. I printed the track pieces and hydraulic cylinders with supports but opted for most everything else without if memory serves me correctly. A track tensioner has yet to be added, and incorporating 8mm skate bearings would significantly enhance the track's movement. This toy has been put through its paces by my three-year-old son over the past four months, proving it's a sturdy and reliable companion. To ensure maximum durability, I recommend increasing wall thickness to approximately 1.5 to 2 mm above standard settings.
