I recently picked up an old D104 at a sale and decided to give it new life as a functional desk microphone for my PC. It will require significant modifications. The 3D-printed parts I have are still untested, but the base cover fit perfectly on mine, as did the wire clamp. However, the PCB holder needed some shortening on my end, so I made an adjustment in the editor to ensure it would work properly. The PCB is secured by two screws, which weren't included in the printed part - you'll need to pre-drill those holes or edit your design accordingly (I may revisit this later). To get the mic up and running, you'll also need to remove the connectors between the head and body, as they were causing background noise when I touched the base of the mic. You'll require extra wire and soldering skills for this part, and heat shrink tubing is a good idea. In my setup, I connected the talk button to the PCB to mute the mic when clicked.
