D1 Mini NFC Reader
thingiverse
This is a compact enclosure that securely holds a D1 Mini esp8266 board connected to a PN532 NFC reader. To communicate effectively, the PN532 must be set in SPI mode so it can interact with the D1 Mini. The goal of this small NFC reader is to connect to WiFi and then perform various tasks such as opening doors or toggling lights, and more. To link these two components together, I used the following connections: PN532 <--> D1 Mini VCC<--> 5V Gnd<--> Gnd SCK<--> D5 MISO<-->D6 MOSI<-->D7 SS<-->D0 I'm currently using my friend's code on the D1, which can be found at https://github.com/tylercrumpton/open-sespame. To design this enclosure, I utilized Fusion 360. If you have any questions or would like to suggest additions, please don't hesitate to reach out - I'd be happy to assist.
