D-Twist

In creating D-Twist, I aimed to address two challenging requirements: compatibility with all current market containers and fully automatic functionality. I believe I met those demands by designing a container lock that is easy to mount and works seamlessly with existing shipping containers. The design features strong springs and a specific locking plate curvature that allows the lock to secure or release itself when sufficient force is applied vertically. Additionally, when placed on the ground, the mechanism is automatically retracted into the corner box, eliminating the need for manual removal of the locking mechanism.
