D-Track mobile robot
thingiverse
The D-Track robot is a printable design that allows both remote control and autonomous operations. Inspired by Jon Goitia's 4-Track [1], it combines wheel and track motion benefits while overcoming their limitations. Its unique feature, articulated tracks, enables the robot to navigate challenging terrains and surpass obstacles that may restrict simpler wheeled vehicles' movements. A demonstration video is available at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeIoDcqjSoo [1]. For assembly details, check the bom.txt file. Comprehensive assembly instructions, electronic diagrams, and code will be released soon. [1] http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13298
