D-Sub 37-pin DC37 connector case for 4040 profile
thingiverse
It's beneficial to relocate printer electronics outside the enclosure while minimizing the number of connectors needed to connect. After discovering an old, reliable D-Sub 37-pin connector, I decided to utilize it. However, mounting it to the printer frame presented a challenge. To address this issue, I designed a custom connector case featuring two inserts for 4040 profile and two holes for wires as a solution. Notably, I opted to use an XT60 connector solely for the bed heater, reserving the DC37's three pin configuration specifically for the hotend.
