Springs perform impressively in ABS and PETG, yet PLA is excessively rigid. Two spring pieces should be securely linked at the tip with a 1/16" wire to stabilize them within the truck. PETG will require lubrication at the sliding joints, or it sticks severely. I suggest employing brass tube or miniature ball bearings in the journals. I'm currently testing using ABS as the bearings with some plastic-safe oil; however, the other options should produce reduced friction and extended wear, plus being easily replaceable. https://youtu.be/lj6BwhTfDjM
