D-Patch (Delta Printer with Automatic Tool Changing)
thingiverse
I would like to introduce the D-PATCH (Delta Printer with automatic tool changing), a cutting-edge printer that is nearing completion. As you can see, it's still in development mode because the actual tool changer has yet to be integrated, but progress is being made. Here are some key statistics about this innovative printer: Print volume: 300x300mm Right now, it comes equipped with five interchangeable tools. The D-PATCH runs on a robust board configuration that includes the Duet 2 Wifi + Duex 5. Power supply is handled by a reliable 24V 13A Meanwell unit. Safety features include circuit breakers and RCDs for added protection. At its core, the printer boasts a milled aluminium bed with a powerful 600W mains heater that's controlled by an SSR (Solid-State Relay). The print surface is secured using a magnetic bed. Tool-changing capabilities are both automatic and manual, offering flexibility and convenience. Control of the D-PATCH is seamlessly managed through the PanelDue interface. Please share your thoughts and let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this printer. Work on the D-PATCH continues!
