D-Pad Housing for Mechanical Keyboards
thingiverse
In the eternal search for the endgame keyboard, I build a Dactyl Manuform 3x5 split, but modeled pointing and navigation devices into the thumbcluster on each side! This model is the d-pad housing I used on the left-hand side. It's designed to work with 5-way switches like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32998891073.html If I were printing my housing again, I'd likely raise the d-pad up about a centimeter, leaving a 'channel' for the three thumbswitches, since it feels just a bit low to easily reach without stretching my thumb.
