V3 fits the active MFT - full clearance for the connection pins. V2 has a right-handed screw, making it completely unusable. V1 works for now, but suffers from focus issues. The adapter now features an alignment dot (not red). This adapter will adapt D-mount lenses to Micro Four Thirds (MFT/m34) cameras. It's not finished yet, but the first iteration that works. I found it extremely challenging to screw in lenses at the front, while easily screwing them into the back - I'm still trying to figure out why. I've attempted to compensate for the flange distance, but it still doesn't focus correctly... only close-up when zoomed in on the lens I have, so the plane of focus isn't correct yet. I might need more lenses to test this further. D-mount has a massive crop factor. On my BMPCC (Super 16 equiv), it causes severe vignetting and can possibly only be a 720p crop at best. It may work better on a Lumix/Olympus for higher resolutions after cropping. It should work on GH4/GH5 with video, if you can set it to use the sensor in the correct location. D-mount lenses were used for normal-8 (sometimes double-8) analog movie cameras, such as the Bolex D-8L. The model needs to be printed with supports, including supports within the model for the little fins of the MFT mount. I printed the largest surface on the print bed (see images). I recommend at least 0.1mm resolution for this print to get the screw working correctly.
