D&D Small Ship (Playable Terrain)
thingiverse
Introducing my second boat, boasting an impressive 100% increase in boat-like appearance. A rudder and enhanced front design are just the beginning of numerous enhancements. If you appreciate the design, a tip would be greatly appreciated. I've also created alternative styles to allow for printing with your preferred design. You can choose between a flat or interlocking bottom for added stability. This was my intention when designing the ship. For print settings and guidance on using supports and options, please refer to the information below, accompanied by pictures. While printing my own copy of the boat, I encountered two issues that have been resolved in these updated files. The grill part in Middle2 and the end of Bottom1 were the problems, which have now been fixed. My next project is a 20-cannon Frigate ship, approximately 70% complete in the design phase. You can reuse the bottom three sections of this ship for your own design. This will be my final boat design for the time being. I'm also experimenting with using magnets for horizontal protection on this vessel. If you're not satisfied with the size of this boat, consider checking out my other one! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3129092 Edit: As of March 31st, 2019, I've added a new mast and crows-nest to the design, which can hold one D&D miniature. Please see "New_mast" for more information. Edit: I've received reports of bottom2_slidingstyle being weak and prone to breaking. I've updated it with a stronger version, Bottom2_SlidingStyleStronger.
