D&D Dice Tray (Table Clamp)
thingiverse
I got some metal dice from Haxtec which are very nice but supposedly can scratch wooden tables so a dice tray is recommended. When playing D&D however, our table is covered with papers and minis and there is no room for an additional tray. I designed this to clamp onto the side of a table in order to not take up room on the table. I included a lid that slides on the top in order to use the box as an actual storage when traveling with it. I included 2 stencils that can be used to make felt cutouts for the bottom and sides which makes the dice rolling experience much nicer than simply on the plastic. Trace the outside of the stencil for proper size. The tray seems to work nice for me, if anyone has any issues printing please let me know so I can make adjustments for others. I do not use supports. The slot that connects to the clamp works just fine and the overhang for the lid to slide into does leave some stringing, but that can be pulled off easily and it still works, better than printing with supports.
