This is a curated collection of shields and flying bases designed specifically for use in Dungeons and Dragons and other role-playing games, where they can be thought of as animated objects. These designs also match the description of decorative shields/flying shields found in Ras Nsi's Lair of the Fane of the Night Serpent (area 12). All the items here are remixes of existing models and bases that have been scaled down to fit a standard 25mm/1 inch grid, making them medium-sized. The flying bases were originally designed for wargaming by BenEccentricNormality and have since been rescaled to D&D size. There are three stem lengths available for your choice, with the larger stems best suited for the bigger bases. One of the standout shields in this collection is Muradin shield: Tower Shield (Moradin Sigil) - With Spear/Cannon Mount, designed by Alcyone47. This shield prints easily and has good detail, making it a great choice if you're looking to print just one type. The Templar shield, designed by VermeulenMaster, was originally intended for cosplay but has been resized for D&D use. The Celtic Shield by fergal_kelly is the only mixed material shield in the collection, and would look best printed in brown/wood or grey/metallic tones. Another unique shield design is the Knotted Shield by lkg218, which features a bas relief pattern that sets it apart from the other shields.
