D Cell Blank with Wiring

Create a battery-to-mains power converter with this printable design featuring d-cell blanks. Each blank has side holes for bare wiring and long-axis holes for screws, which serve as electrical contacts. Print as many d-cells as needed to replace batteries. Obtain a mains adapter with the same voltage, remove the plug, and strip the wire. Insert positive wire into top of first blank, negative into base of last blank, securing with screws (e.g., 10 gauge x 12mm tec screws). Use PLA for printing; hole sizes accommodate small DC wiring. In initial prints, use 20% infill and a layer height of 0.3mm. Screw lengths in pictures are 10 gauge x 15mm.
