D-Bot Y Optical Endstop

D-Bot Y Optical Endstop

I swapped out my mechanical end stop for an optical one, and it made a huge difference - no more annoying vibrations. I grabbed the optical end stop from the top and attached it to the D-bot Y carriage. That was the only modification I needed to make. The rest of the setup remained intact - the cap holder and Y optical holder came straight from the original design. Since I home my carriage at Y min instead of max, I updated the code to accommodate both homing methods. If you're using optical end stops, be sure to flip this line in Marlin: #define Y_MIN_ENDSTOP_INVERTING false // set to true to invert the logic, or #define Y_MAX_ENDSTOP_INVERTING false // set to true to invert the logic
