Remixed a design by Lantis, adapting it for mounting atop the D-Bot printer's front rail to provide a downward view of the build plate. The redesigned component stays neatly out of sight. To attach the ball joint to the pi case, use an M3 screw and nut. Attach the pi case to the frame using 2x M5 screws and square nuts. Initial Challenges: - The mounts for the M5 to rail are somewhat thin - I addressed this issue by adding 3xM5 washers, which can be remixed to increase depth if desired. - Adding a standard v-slot rail guide to the bottom would greatly benefit the design but would make it visually unappealing due to required supports. It functions fine without and remains securely tightened. Note: When installing the pi/camera combination, run the camera cable through the case first, then attach it to the pi board before sliding the pi into place (removing the SD card and reinserting it after the pi is in place). Update: If your cable chain is touching the camera during extended builds, an alternate back cover has been uploaded, allowing the camera to be mounted on the outside edge of the case. Additionally, an alternate arm brings the camera closer to the middle of the pi case when paired with this updated back cover. The second set of photos demonstrates this functionality.
