D-bot modifications

Caution: this is a work in progress. The parts here are being used to build a modified D-bot with alloy stiffeners. To be clear, they have been tested for fit but not function as the build is still underway (as of April 2017). Feel free to test and let me know if you experience any issues, I will fix them promptly. Print all parts in 100% infill PETG or ABS. F3d files are included for your own editing, but please inform me why. As per the spirit of GPL, remember that you are required to provide editable files (ie source code) to allow others to contribute and modify freely. This is a modification to the original D-bot by spauda01, published on September 6, 2015. You can find it on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1001065. The modifications will consist of: Stage 1: a) Replacement LHS stepper motor mount for T-bar nuts (completed). b) Replacement RHS stepper motor mount for T-bar nuts (completed). c) Replacement RH rear idler bracket for T-bar nuts, (printed but not yet tested). d) Replacement LH rear idler bracket for T-bar nuts, (printed but not yet tested). e) Duetwifi control box. f) Mains AC voltage SSR for bed. g) BOM (bill of materials). h) HD (heavy-duty) belt clamp and xHD (extra-heavy duty) for front hotend bracket. i) Modified (off another user - sorry, I forgot who - will locate and update) front bracket for E3D Aero. (mk1c-aero-mount-basic). Stage 2: The IDEX-bot is a full dual gantry 600x400 3D printer modified with triple Z ballscrews and linear rails. Note: T-bar nuts. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Duplicator 6 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: Normal Infill: 50% minimum due to stiffness requirements. Notes: Parts made using a Wanhao D6, eSUN yellow PETG at 245C hotend, 90C bed on glass with cheap hairspray. Brim used with about 60% part cooling fan. This, however, depends on the printer. Too much cooling will cause the PETG to curl off the bed, too little and the finish will not be as good, or eSUN PLA+ at 206C 60C bed on glass. Linear rails are from Aliexpress, size - Kossel Mini for 12mm Linear Guide MGN12. If X is nominally 750mm for the frame, two 700mm linear rails will be needed. Y will be as per spauda01's design, the same length and parts, ie 4 openbuilds miniwheels to keep the mass of the gantry and hotend minimalised, except an E3D chimera hotend will be used. X & Z gantry assembly: There will be two prints for this, left hand and right hand. The left hand has 3.2mm holes for four M3x12mm to screw through into the linear guide. The right hand has 3.2mm wide slots for four M3x12mm to screw through into the linear guide. The slots in the right-hand part allow for some tolerance in setting up. Important, use eight 3mm washers, one per screw to spread load. Both require four M5x16mm or M5x20mm long allen dome-headed bolts, four 5mm washers, and four M5 locknuts. X gantry additional parts list: 8 x M3x12mm allen-headed bolts 8 x 3mm washers 8 x M5x16mm or M5x20mm Allen-headed bolts 8 x 5mm washers How I designed this: Hotend gantry view 1 Hotend gantry view 2
