D-Bot / C-Bot Radial Blower Fan
thingiverse
Upgrade the part cooling fan for your D-BOT printer to a more powerful 50 mm Radial blower fan, which provides ample cooling even for tricky prints. Be cautious, as it can cool too much; for instance, when printing PETG, you only need 40% fan speed for bridges. The duct is adjustable up and down, as shown in the photos, with no loss of print area. Print the duct using a high-temperature material since the nozzle tip is near the heater (ABS/PC/PETG, etc.). No supports are needed. This design must be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle. The provided STL file has ultra-high resolution, resulting in an 11MB file size; you can request a lower-quality version if desired. For visual proof of its performance, watch the video here (printing PLA at 80mm/s): https://youtu.be/gTrLMZgg-nM Print Settings: Printer: D-BOT Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Printed in PETG (Real Filament Translucent Yellow) on blue tape with waterproof wood glue, requiring no brim or raft.
