D-Bot Bottom (Foot) Corner Brackets for Rigidity
thingiverse
I made a massive D-Bot design from Spauda01's remix of the C-Bot core xy printer. I found this design on AK_Eric and updated it to fit my D-Bot printer. These updates are crucial if you plan to build a D-Bot printer with an enormous Z-axis (bigger than 300mm build height), for example, my printer uses vertical V-slot rails that are 920mm long with 800mm lead screws achieving a massive 720mm build volume. The original D-Bot design employs 3x3 corner brackets and 90-degree bracket corners. I customized version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1543523 Instructions Mirror this design as needed to print out all four bottom feet for your large D-Bot, eliminating the need for four 3x3 corner brackets and eight 90-degree brackets. This file is designed for the front right and rear left corners. Simply mirror it for the other two corners.
