WHAT IS IT?\nI've combined the D-bot front carriage from spauda01 and the Chimera mount by invent0r to create this remix. The process was straightforward, involving a few tweaks and adjustments to ensure proper fitment. Unused screw holes were filled, grub screws were cleared, and excess material was removed for weight reduction. Mount positioning was carefully adjusted according to E3D's online schematics. Following the manufacturer's recommendations, only three screws are required to secure the block, so I've limited the mounting holes to just the top ones.\nUpdate\nA rear carriage STL file has been added.\nWHY?\nI'm building a D-bot with a 1 cubic foot build volume (300mm x 300mm x 300mm+) and needed a hotend that could keep up. Since I love my E3D V6 on my Prusa i3, I decided to get another one with a volcano for faster printing. But then the Chimera caught my eye, so I created this remix – you can probably guess what happened.\nNOTE:\nMy order of a Chimera & Cyclops Legends pack and two Volcano Eruption packs has been placed, but until they arrive and my D-bot build is complete, this design remains untested.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: \n RepRap\n \n Printer: \n Prusa i3 Rework\n \n Rafts: \n No\n \n Supports: \n No\n \n Resolution: \n Your Choice\n \n Infill: \n 25-50%\n \n Notes: \n I printed mine in Hatchbox PETG Pantone Red to match my printer build. My print settings were:E3D V6 hotend with a 0.5mm nozzle, 0.4mm layer height, and 50% infill for the non-structural part.\nHow I Designed This\nThis thing was made with Tinkercad.
