D-Bot 3x Leadscrew Parts
thingiverse
These are the parts I designed for adding a third leadscrew to my 300mm X 300mm D-Bot. I really dislike set screws on my leadscrews, so the parts have the trapezoid thread modeled in and are clamped with M3 hardware. These will only fit 8mm leadscrews with 4-start 2mm pitch threads, which I believe are probably the most common anyway. This is a work in progress! If you have feedback, please post it in the comments. I think there are advantages to moving the large belt further down, but it will make less room for electronics enclosures and the power supply. I've also been thinking about changing over to a design that captures the leadscrew with a bearing above and below the belt pulley. So far this design has been very functional for me. I printed everything with Inland black PLA @ 215C (higher temp than normal for better inter-layer adhesion). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXBerbDr_ok 1220mm Length, 6mm Width closed loop GT2 Timing Belt 280mm Length, 6mm Width closed loop GT2 Timing Belt 3x KFL-08 Flanged Bearing 3x 400mm leadscrews Extra piece of 20mm V-Slot and associated attach parts (printed from D-Bot repo) NOTE: Not all of the parts are oriented properly for printing in the STLs.
