Côte d'Or Chocolate bar - barre chocolat
thingiverse
Dear Chocolate Enthusiasts, This is your file for printing a famous Côte d'Or chocolate bar at a scale of 2:1. Côte d'Or is a renowned Belgian chocolate that was created in 1970 by Charles Neuhaus. I'm grateful to Mr. Neuhaus, whose legacy inspires me every day. This file is designed to print one chocolate bar, but you can easily produce multiple bars at your preferred scale. This particular design is printed at a 2:1 scale and features intricate details that require precision and patience. The model was created using Solidworks software while referencing the original product's dimensions before it, unfortunately, met its demise. The print settings used were 0.1 layer thickness to achieve a high-quality finish on the rounded areas. While 0.2 layers might also produce acceptable results, they may result in visible layer lines. Infill was set at 15% for this print, which took approximately 7 hours to complete on my stock CR10 printer. Filament used for printing is Ariane Plast's marron-colored material, which can be sourced from their website: https://www.arianeplast.com/. This file may seem like just a simple plastic part, but it brings me joy every time I place it on my desk. Despite my strong craving for chocolate, I'm forced to admire its beauty rather than indulge in it. I hope this file will be of interest to Côte d'Or fans everywhere. If you're new to the brand, now's a great opportunity to learn more about its rich history and discover why it's a beloved treat in many parts of the world. Please note that the back side of the model is shown on Thingiverse, but don't worry – this is the correct file. Simply print with the flat side facing down.
