K-S 5 "U Potoka" is an independent infantry stronghold built in the second stage of resistance. The object falls under III. ŽSV Králíky in the sub-unit Červený Potok. The fortress was to follow up with a barrage on neighboring bunkers K-S 6 and K-S 4, its next task being to shoot down machine guns in the dome of an important communication line in Dolní Moravě. Equipment The main armament under the concrete consisted of two 4cm cannons vz. 36 coupled with heavy machine guns and two pairs of heavy machine guns vz. 37. Another major weapon was a heavy machine gun vz. 37 in the middle dome. Auxiliary weapons were four light machine guns vz. 26 in apertures under the concrete and two light machine guns vz. 26 in armored bells. History of the bunker During the Munich crisis, the object was fully prepared for battle. The intermediate and perimeter obstacle was fully completed. The stronghold was equipped with weapons. The use of machine guns in bells and especially in domes would be difficult due to missing lafets. Missing were also floor mats in bells and ammunition stocks in the bunker were not yet complete. Filtroventilation and a diesel generator had been installed. Also, phone connections between objects and possibly earth telegraph connection had been completed. Before the occupation of the border, all equipment and weapons were removed from the bunker. The object survived the war without damage unlike other objects in the section. It may have played a role that the bunker could be a storehouse for the German army. In 1953, Kovošrot tore off armored bells that were only slightly damaged. When demolishing, Kovošrot damaged the ceiling plate through which water began to leak into the object. The partition walls in the upper floor were also damaged. From 1994, KVH Kralka has been managing the object and has established a museum there and is rebuilding the bunker to its appearance from 1938.
