CZ 75 magazine loader with spring assist
thingiverse
This is designed to aid the process of loading 18-round CZ magazines, and you can also download and alter dimensions to work with most any magazine. I printed it with PLA, setting my perimeters/top/bottom to 4 layers with 100% infill and using supports as needed. Before assembly, I dry-fitted everything to ensure the slide moves freely, that the springs aren't too short (can be stretched) or too long (need shorter springs), and that the locking pin fits its hole. After printing, I sanded off zits and support material leftovers to ensure smooth function. I also ensured the slide and spring cavity didn't get any imperfections internally that could cause binding/jamming. My locking pin's hole needed a slight filing for the pin to fit in place. If you file it too big, you can just superglue the peg into place after assembly. To assemble, stack two springs stolen from ballpoint pens on top of each other down into the round hole. The top spring should be most of the way into the hole. Using the end of the slide's peg, push the springs downward until the locking pin has clearance to be pushed into place. If you have any questions, feel free to figure them out for yourself or, if that doesn't work, I'll be glad to help. I'm still new to modeling, so there is some cleanup that could be done, but my loader operates wonderfully.
