To put it on you wrap the two haves around the barrel and around the rear iron sights. To keep it on you have to have an attachment or accessory on the top and bottom holding it together. For example, in the photo I use a reflex to keep the top part together and a vertical grip to keep the bottom part on. If you want to keep it on more permanently you could glue the two haves on but if you have two properly tightened attachments on both the top and bottom you won't need to. This might work on other as val style guns but I don't know how wide those barrels are but if you want to try it the barrel on mine is about 40.5mm in diameter and around half way down the barrel it goes to 40mm but this is meant to fit on the 40.5mm part. Also, this was printed in white, spray painted black and modeled in blender.
