CYMA M4 Marksman Handguard Nut
cults3d
Well, where to start? I bought a Cyma M4 Marksman (best purchase I've ever made and its now a fully maxxed out rifle that still runs the stock gearbox). The first problem I have ever run into owning it was the stock handguard nut was really weak, especially with a grip and heavy silencer on the front. You could either lean into it like you normally would or just hold the rifle really tight and the nut would pop loose or jump threads from the receiver, resulting in a poor t-piece seal, a loss of fps and becoming something worse than a pea shooter. I tried everything to fix including (but not limited to...) bolts, superglue, Loctite, thread lockers, etc. So I ended up replacing the handguard entirely and that solved the problem. And then I got a parts kit and needed another handguard and had this stock one laying around. The nut was still the weakest link. So rather than giving it a darwin's award and letting it go extinct I spent an hour and a half making a replacement. Which of course my ender 3 v2 screws up making... the part and files are perfect, my printer just sucks. Lovely. I love and hate that printer. At this rate I may end up kicking it off a cliff. So enjoy my replacement part and enjoy my singular nut. Its average sized too. You may need a spacer but don't worry that's included too. Spacers come in 2 sizes, 0.5mm & 1mm.
