UPDATE: I've chamfered the compartment edges as they were REALLY sharp. This over-engineered pencil case features a top section that's its own separate compartment to keep a sharpener and eraser isolated from the main body. The bottom has its own screw cap, just like the top. This project was an exercise in thread creation for Fusion 360, plus I needed somewhere to carry my sketching gear. Print it standing up, with caps facing UP, same with the top chamber – don't print threads as a base. Not much else to say about this design, but here are the specs: outer diameter is 35mm, inner main chamber is 30mm (so that should come up to 2.5mm walls). Main part length is 190mm, top chamber is 65mm. You can use it without the top chamber and just attach the top cap. Here it is in all its glory – use it for personal protection, a weapon, running baton, flare case, twirling baton, or lipstick case. PRINTER TOLERANCES MUST BE DIALED IN; print at .12 rez in PLA (tested at .2 and was fine) if you want decent threads, plus these are M32x2 so they're pretty forgiving.
