[OpenHaptics]: https://openhaptics.github.io This is a vibration motor mounting plate for the DIY haptical feedback vest from GitHub project [OpenHaptics][] The hemispherical mounting plate shall optimize the transmission of vibration to the body and is similar in design to the bHaptics TactVest X16 and X40. It is designed for tight fit of 3.3V/5V cylindrical ERM vibration motors, w/o need for further attachment. It also made the attachment of vibration motors to the (neoprene) vest a lot easier. For me strong double-sided tape was sufficient, but the mounting plate has holes for M3 screws. If additional attachment is required you also need to print the base plate model. By the way,... the vest shown in the pictures is a first prototype. I will get rid of the duct tape in a next step, but for now is required for covering of the cables.
