This tool makes it easy to find the center of a solid cylinder. place it on the end with the cylinder against the V-rails on the bottom, then draw a line with a sharp pencil against the "good" side of the slot. Rotate the tool about 120 degrees and repeat. Once more, and you're done. Remove the tool to see the three pencil lines on the cylinder. The center is where they intersect. The top of the tool has three arrows pointing to the "good" side of the slot, which exactly bisects the V-rails on the bottom. At the top of the slot is a thin groove which also indicates the "good" side. Always place your pencil against the "good" side to draw the line.I printed this in Sunlu gold PLA because I had it left over from my daughter's chain mail rings, but any material is suitable.
