Cygolite Hotshot Mount
thingiverse
I revised jmisavage's design for compatibility with a simple L-bracket, eliminating unnecessary holes. This required significant post-processing using a file to ensure proper fit. My setup likely contributed to these challenges. It was somewhat tricky to remove the light, although this may have been my own setup's fault again. I imported the STL back into SLDPRT and added the rear hex extrusion to support the inset hex head, which measures 8 mm in size. Post-Printing To avoid supports in the channel areas, I printed it standing up. A thin file was necessary to bring the channels to the correct size. DISREGARD: refer to updates for modifications. Updates 1 Feb 17: Do not print this design standing up to prevent supports along the inside edges of the top "rails". The flexing required to remove the light will likely break the mount in two.
