The supplied tripod for this selfie stick is very weak, especially with a larger phone being mounted on it. Ours eventually snapped (while setting up luckily, phone was caught!) This provides a very stable base for this selfie stick. It allows you to have your phone mounted in both the short, and fully extended formats. Great if you want to have it set up to selfie/film while seated! 10% infill, no supports. To use, remove (twist) the tripod off so it's removed, and slot the handle in to the stand, including the foam handle. The size of the slot has been made to accommodate the foam handle and provide a tight hold on the stick. Enjoy!
