Cyclone Vacuum Hose Adapter
thingiverse
This is an adapter fitting to connect a 2" shop vacuum host to the exit tube of one of the low cost cyclone filters like the ones available on [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XL8X3DG). In my case I was connecting to a Ridgid vacuum, but others with the same hose size should work. Print this with the flat part on the back of the elbow against the bed with supports where touching the bed. Use the "touching build plate only" option for supports in Ultimaker Cura since the inside supports aren't necessary in this orientation. For maximum strength, use a high wall count. I printed mine in PLA and it seems plenty strong. Update: I did end up breaking the first one after knocking over the cyclone (several times actually). It separated at one of the layers. I've uploaded a new version with thicker walls for added strength but I also left the original which takes less plastic and less time. It probably would have been fine if I had it permanently mounted in a way I couldn't knock it over. Use the thicker one if you anticipate a high stress installation.
