CYCLONE SEPARATOR 65 NB

Within a cylindrical container, known as a cyclone, an accelerated airflow is created. Water travels in a spiral path starting at the top (wider section) and ending at the bottom (narrower end). It exits through the center of the cyclone and its top. Dense particles have insufficient momentum to follow the tight curve, hitting the wall and falling to the base for extraction. In conical systems, as the flow nears the narrow end, the rotational radius decreases, separating progressively smaller particles.
