Cyclone Filter 2.5" Shopvac Hose Adapters

These are a pair of 2.5" hose adapters (large shopvac hose) designed for Dronnn's well-designed cyclone vacuum filter design, available for download here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2829268 The adapters feature an aerodynamic transition that gives larger chunks of debris a better chance to pass through without getting stuck. Both straight and 90-degree inlet styles are designed for friction-fit attachment to the filter inlet. If you want a permanent bond, glue can be used, but a more secure fit with the 90-degree inlet requires a set screw instead of glue, especially if you need to use smaller hoses later on. Make sure the set screw doesn't penetrate to the inside where lint can get caught. The outlet adapter is designed for gluing to the filter top. I printed my filter and adapters in ABS and bonded the outlet permanently with acetone. You may need to use CA or epoxy if you print with other filaments. Since smaller hoses can still fit through the outlet, removal of the adapter should not be necessary.
