Cyclone Dust Seperator

Cyclone Dust Seperator

thingiverse

This is a direct copy of LizzyDesign's Cyclone Dust Separator, modified to fit on a small bed-sized 3D Printer like my Prusa Mendel Iteration 2. The cyclone has been broken into three smaller pieces to accommodate the printer's dimensions (approximately 196mm wide x 196mm deep x 90mm high). The total print weight for me came in at about 650 grams, using a 15% infill. To assemble this Cyclone Dust Collector, you'll need a Shop Vac, a spare vacuum hose, a bucket with lid, and five 6M bolts with nuts and washers. You'll also require some type of glue to hold the sections together; I used CA glue and accelerator/kicker for this purpose. This build is incredibly straightforward. If you're interested in seeing how it was put together, please check out my video on the subject: https://youtu.be/fe3hI5IohxM Print Settings: Printer: Prusa Mendel Iteration 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.4mm Infill: 15% Notes: I employed brims to provide additional support for the print as it adhered to the 3D Printer's bed.
