Cyclone Dust Collector for Shark Vacuum
pinshape
A cyclone for a Shark Vacuum 1.75"OD flexible hose. When using my Lobo Mill, wood chips piled up too quickly for the Shark to handle efficiently. The cyclone expertly separates dust as needed and stores it in a convenient tub at the bottom. I plan to design a mount for the Lobo Mill's end soon. I used Autodesk Inventor initially, then modified and edited the model in Blender and HeeksCAD. The parts neatly stack on top of each other, making cleaning and maintenance easy. A 1.75" OD vacuum hose screws into the inlet port with ease. Inside the cyclone, three conical helix veins work together to direct dust downwards efficiently. I made a small mistake initially - the cap that holds the vacuum hose was reversed in the .stl files compared to the picture. I corrected it, but unfortunately, I need to reprint the design.
