Cycliq CE mounts
thingiverse
I have designed a mounting interface to the Cycliq CE family of lights. My creation is similar to other quarter-turn and eight-turn mounts because I prefer twist mounts with built-in springs instead of mostly rigid plastic providing a snap action. There are several models so far: 1. A ziptie seatpost mount for a Cycliq Fly6 CE, designed for a 27.2mm diameter seatpost at 73 degrees. 2. A mount that should fit on a BarFly modular bar mount. This one is untested since I do not have a Fly12 CE, but I believe it uses the same basic mount as the Fly6 CE. The dimensions are for 20mm between M4 bolt holes. 3. An alternate puck for 20mm between M3 bolt holes. Also not tested since I do not have a K-Edge mount, so the outside diameter may be completely wrong. 4. A CE to GoPro adapter. Not yet built. These mounts are as yet untested on the road or rougher surfaces. Even if they were, please use a tether anyway. In the future, I may just spin off variations as separate projects, though they will appear as remixes of this. The included Fusion 360 file has the configuration for the seatpost mount. Roll back to the chamfer and unsuppress the prior three features (chamfer and two extrusions) to get the BarFly mount. Roll back to the GoPro-named features and unsuppress them for the GoPro mount tabs. Most of the parameters are available in the "Solid... Modify... Change Parameters" menu item. This allows easy changes to hole drilling (diameter, width, and countersinking), seatpost customization (seatpost angle and diameter), and also allows for ziptie bar mount by changing the seatpost angle to 90 degrees and diameter to whatever you want for your bar.
With this file you will be able to print Cycliq CE mounts with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Cycliq CE mounts.
