Cyborg Hand: A Robotic Extension of a Larger Costume. This cyborg hand was designed as an extension of a larger costume, which originally featured printed cyborg parts on fabric, similar to the costume showcased at Funidelia.co.uk, identified by the link below: https://www.funidelia.co.uk/mans-bionic-man-costume-51242.html?gclid=CjwKCAjw3qDeBRBkEiwAsqeO7gxLX5ZE9uwiWRc6DOJ5nAgYCAxdQh4UJFTlV_5G8i7CKm2vTCnKrRoCC6YQAvD_BwE To carry the cyborg theme from the arm onto the hand, this robotic extension was built. The design process involved breaking down the hand into sections to allow for a smooth range of motion, with articulated joints created using twist-ties and secured to the hand via 10mm wide Velcro loops. Measurements used in the construction are provided below; feel free to adjust the joint lengths as needed to ensure a comfortable fit.
